About the role#
As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, you will join our team in Euclid, Ohio, to support process engineering projects. You will help ensure our manufacturing activities are completed on time and within budget. This is a full-time, paid position for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain step-by-step process plans for manufacturing Control Rod Drive Mechanisms.
- Monitor production processes to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Generate SAP routings based on established process plans.
- Assist in creating CAD drawings for process fixturing, tooling, and setup instructions.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, delivery, or cost.
- Collaborate with internal departments, customers, and vendors to resolve manufacturing issues.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program for Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
- Basic familiarity with engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work across multiple disciplines.
- All candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to pass a pre-employment check and drug screening.
