About the role#
Bridgewater Bank is seeking an analytical intern to join the Credit team for the summer of 2027. You will evaluate the financial condition of individuals and businesses applying for credit. This role provides exposure to real-world banking and allows you to apply your academic background to projects that support our lenders.
What you'll do#
- Collect, review, and analyze loan requests, financial data, appraisals, and title insurance.
- Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and recommendations regarding loan structure and pricing.
- Assign risk ratings to support loan requests.
- Create credit presentations covering cash flow analysis, forecasting, industry trends, and loan history.
- Maintain accurate records for lending clients and accounts.
- Collaborate with team members on initiatives and attend departmental meetings to observe strategic decision-making.
- Lead individual projects and present your findings to the Intern Cohort and leadership teams.
What you'll need#
- Current Junior or Senior status or recent graduation from a 4-year degree program in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills with the ability to work independently or within a team.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, maintain confidential information, and meet deadlines.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.

- Location: St Louis Park, Minnesota.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 25, 2027 to August 20, 2027).
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: This is a paid, full-time position at $22/hr.
- Benefits: Includes 2 paid holidays and PTO accrued in compliance with Minnesota law.
