About the role#
Bridgewater Bank is hiring a Project Management Intern for the Summer 2027 cohort. You will work with the Project Management Office to support strategic banking initiatives. This role involves applying project management methodologies to planning, execution, and monitoring tasks. You will gain exposure to corporate operations while contributing to real-world projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and schedules.
- Monitor project progress and prepare status reports for stakeholders.
- Maintain project tools, templates, and data accuracy within the PMO portfolio management tool.
- Write procedural documentation and step-by-step instructions for PMO tools.
- Participate in project meetings, take notes, and track action items.
- Assist with stakeholder identification and management.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of project management best practices.
- Collaborate with employees on initiatives and attend departmental meetings to observe strategic decision-making.
- Lead individual projects and present your work to the intern cohort and leadership teams.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a degree program in project management, communications, business administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge of project management concepts, tools, and techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
- Flexibility and a willingness to learn new things.
