About the role#
BRG is seeking a Summer Associate for our Corporate Finance - Turnaround & Restructuring practice in Boston. This is an eight-week internship beginning in Summer 2027. You will work as part of our consulting staff, supporting teams that provide strategic and financial advice to companies in transition or underperforming situations. We look for candidates graduating between December 2027 and August 2028.
What you'll do#
- Support day-to-day activities for client service teams on various engagements.
- Execute tasks including financial modeling and client presentations.
- Build 13-week cash flow models, 3-statement models, and pro-forma scenario models.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, analyses, and client deliverables.
- Collaborate with BRG experts, other professionals, and client contacts to meet project objectives.
- Participate in the development of our consulting practice, including assistance with marketing and client pitches.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, ethics, and quality in all work.
What you'll need#
- Progression toward a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Management, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
- Strong problem-solving and project-management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- The ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
- A mature presence and intellectual curiosity.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

- The position is based in Boston, Massachusetts.
- This is an on-site, full-time role.
- The internship lasts approximately 8 weeks.
