About the role#
The Summer Associate program is an approximately 8-week internship beginning in Summer 2027. This role involves both quantitative and qualitative work, ranging from subject matter research to the preparation of economic, statistical, and financial analyses. You will build technical skills while contributing to projects that shape significant legal and business outcomes. This is a pipeline program, and BRG aims to convert successful interns to full-time Associates after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Develop a practical understanding of industries, markets, legal claims, and business issues by reviewing information from clients, academic literature, legal documents, and commercial databases.
- Identify, collect, maintain, analyze, and review data, qualitative materials, and various file types.
- Combine programming, model building, and statistical analysis skills using relational databases and statistical programs.
- Interact with senior staff, experts, and clients to communicate findings, economic concepts, and recommendations.
- Provide valuable contributions to client deliverables and expert reports.
What you'll need#
- Progression towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Accounting, Business, Finance, or Healthcare Administration, with an expected graduation date between Winter 2027 and Summer 2028.
- A 3.6 GPA or higher is preferred.
- Demonstrated interest in applying analytics to business, financial, legal, regulatory, or policy questions.
- Experience with statistical, econometric, and programming tools such as Excel, Stata, R, Python, SQL, or similar platforms.
- Ability to verify a legal right to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
