About the role#
This 12-week summer internship offers hands-on experience in production and operations. You will support the safe and efficient execution of instrument, controls, and electrical engineering work at oil and gas production sites. Interns work within a multidisciplinary team to improve site processes and maintain critical infrastructure.
What you'll do#
- Design and maintain integrated control and safety systems.
- Collaborate with maintenance supervisors, engineers, specialists, and craftsmen on daily maintenance activities.
- Apply instrumentation technologies like level, pressure, and temperature transmitters.
- Work with low, medium, and high voltage power systems including transformers, motors, and breakers.
- Contribute to site-driven improvements and process control optimization.
- Lead subsea control systems for shallow and deep-water offshore installations.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Controls Engineering or a related discipline.
- Current cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without restrictions.
- Availability to start the 12-week program on May 17, 2027, or June 14, 2027.
