About the role#
This 12-week summer internship offers hands-on experience in reservoir engineering. You will work on real projects that deliver measurable results while collaborating with experienced colleagues. The program provides a view into how we extract hydrocarbons safely and efficiently. Successful interns may be considered for a full-time role within the One Subsurface program upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Integrate geoscience, facilities, and production engineering data to assess reservoir performance.
- Support the full lifecycle of an oil or gas field.
- Participate in reservoir performance analysis, well planning, or flood management.
- Assist with setting depletion strategies, generating field development options, or estimating reserves.
- Engage in reservoir simulation tasks such as history matching or model building.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Reservoir, Mechanical, Chemical (Fluid Dynamics), Geological, or related engineering fields.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without restrictions. We do not provide immigration sponsorship.
- Availability to start the 12-week program on either May 17, 2027, or June 14, 2027.
