About the role#
This is a paid work term for students starting in January 2027. We offer 4, 8, 12, or 16-month placements. You will work on-site to gain professional experience while contributing to our energy operations. We provide relocation assistance, including travel coverage and housing support, depending on your specific role and location.

What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate engineering program with an electrical or instrumentation focus.
- You must be returning to full-time studies after the work term ends.
- You must attach your most recent transcripts to your application.
Location & details#
Roles are available in Calgary, Alberta, St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, and the Fort McMurray region, including Fort Hills and Mildred Lake. Students working in Fort McMurray are eligible for a cash allowance to assist with the cost of living. You will indicate your preferred locations and term length during the application process.
