About the role#
As a 2027 Technical Intern, you will work within our Midstream operations. This role focuses on the gathering, processing, and transport of natural gas, natural gas liquids, and crude oil. You will gain hands-on experience by working alongside experienced professionals on projects that support our technical and professional development. This is a full-time, paid summer internship that requires on-site work.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support for new equipment installations, maintenance, and repairs of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and rotating equipment.
- Participate in orientation, training events, field trips, and weekly seminars.
- Interact with functional leaders and network with other interns.
- Receive coaching and guidance from a manager and an assigned mentor.
- Deliver a presentation at the end of the program regarding your work assignments and findings.
- Learn about company practices, safety requirements, procedures, and technical tools.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student in an undergraduate program.
- Pursuing an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Technology, Electrical Technology, or an equivalent technical program.
- Graduation date of August 2027 or later.
- Available for a minimum of 11 continuous weeks.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work outside in harsh weather, lift up to 45 pounds, and climb up to 50 feet.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including fire-retardant clothing and respiratory protection, which requires being clean-shaven.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Pay: $24.94 to $28.50 per hour, depending on education level.
- This position requires the completion of an online assessment within 7 days of your application.
