About the role#
Bolton & Menk is hiring a Civil Engineering Intern for our Transportation service group for the Summer 2027 season. You will work with our team on community infrastructure projects. This role involves a mix of office-based design work and field-based construction observation.
What you'll do#
- Assist with roadway and intersection design layouts and traffic counting.
- Prepare reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Perform construction observation, staking, and administration duties.
- Complete quantity calculations and review shop drawings.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Civil Engineering or closely related degree program at an accredited institution.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Completed coursework in general surveying and AutoCAD drafting.
- A valid driver's license and access to transportation.
- Ability to work in extended outdoor conditions and navigate rugged terrain.
