About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work with our land development team to support private clients. Most of your time will focus on design and construction phase activities for various infrastructure projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist with planning and design tasks for civil engineering projects.
- Prepare reports, project plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Perform construction observation and construction staking.
- Handle construction administration duties.
- Complete design calculations and review shop drawings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Civil Engineering degree or a closely related program.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Sophomore standing or higher.
- Completed coursework in general surveying and AutoCAD drafting.
- A valid driver’s license and your own transportation.
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions and navigate rugged terrain for construction observation.
- Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

- This is an on-site position located in Plymouth, Minnesota, or Mankato, Minnesota.
- Relocation and housing are not provided.
