About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. You will work on land development projects, gaining practical experience in both design and construction phases. You will work directly with our team to support private clients on community infrastructure projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist with civil engineering planning and design tasks.
- Prepare reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Perform construction observation, staking, and administration duties.
- Complete design calculations and review shop drawings.
- Work in outdoor conditions and navigate rugged terrain as needed for construction observation.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Civil Engineering or closely related degree program.
- Sophomore standing or higher.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Completed coursework in general surveying and AutoCAD drafting.
- A valid driver's license.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
