About the role#
This Civil Engineering Intern position is part of our Municipal service group for the Summer 2027 season. You will work alongside engineers, project managers, and construction professionals to support municipal infrastructure projects. This role involves a mix of office-based design work and field-based construction activities.
What you'll do#
- Assist with civil engineering, planning, and design tasks.
- Prepare reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Perform construction observation, staking, and administration duties.
- Complete design calculations and review shop drawings.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Civil Engineering or closely related degree program.
- Sophomore standing or above.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher, with 3.2 or above preferred.
- Completed coursework in general surveying and AutoCAD drafting.
- Ability to work in extended outdoor conditions and navigate rugged terrain.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
