About the role#
As a Civil Engineering Intern with our Municipal service group, you will gain hands-on experience supporting infrastructure projects. You will work alongside engineers, project managers, and construction professionals to build technical skills for your future career. This is a full-time, paid position for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Assist with civil engineering tasks including planning and design.
- Prepare reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Perform construction observation and administration duties.
- Complete construction staking.
- Conduct design calculations and review shop drawings.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Civil Engineering or closely related degree program.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8, with 3.2 or above preferred.
- Sophomore status or above.
- Completed coursework in general surveying and AutoCAD drafting.
- Ability to work in extended outdoor conditions and navigate rugged terrain.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
