Grounds Maintenance Crew (Student)

About the role#

This is a paid, part-time student position assisting the grounds maintenance staff at Bob Jones University. This role is open to students for the Fall 2027 term and requires on-site work in Greenville, South Carolina.

What you'll do#

• Perform landscaping, hardscape maintenance, and irrigation tasks.
• Conduct ground-level tree work and general campus cleanup, including street, sidewalk, and trash removal.
• Clean and wax exterior fixtures, as well as clean and dust reachable exterior windows and doors.
• Assist with storm cleanup, which may require working during irregular hours to clear paths.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs and push or pull up to 100 lbs.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a student at Bob Jones University.
• A valid, current USA driver's license.
• A willingness to perform manual labor.
• Ability to commit to a minimum 2-hour work block per scheduled day.
• Note: This position is not suitable for individuals with severe allergies.
