About the role#
This position focuses on the provisioning and disposition of hardware and software assets at Bob Jones University. The role is open to current Bob Jones University and Bob Jones Academy students only. You will work on-site in a paid capacity.
What you'll do#
- Image computer systems and perform data sanitation.
- Install software and troubleshoot hardware issues.
- Recover data when necessary.
- Receive, distribute, and process retired assets.
- Maintain and update asset records.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Apple OS.
- Experience with computer hardware and software installation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- The ability to work independently.
- Enrollment in a major such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or Electrical Engineering.
