About the role#
As a Trade Desk Support Analyst, you will join our team for a four-month winter internship. You will support operational processes to ensure trade transactions are processed and booked accurately. This role involves maintaining governance over trade capture and providing data for financial accounting and downstream analytics.
What you'll do#
- Process and book securities and trade transactions.
- Support the booking of new strategies and capture daily transactional information.
- Gather and format data into reports and dashboards.
- Reconcile information and documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Identify and resolve trade discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on business objectives.
- Collaborate on the implementation of new processes and system improvements.
- Apply the Risk Management Framework to protect bank assets and adhere to regulations.
- Support the development of tools and training materials.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an academic program with an intent to return to studies.
- Strong motivation and a desire to learn.
- Proficiency in PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of business products, services, and risk/regulatory requirements.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work collaboratively within a team.
- Customer service skills.
