About the role#
As a Portfolio Assistant, you will provide administrative and operational support to the delivery of financial and investment planning. This position involves working collaboratively within your branch to ensure an exceptional customer experience. You will play a part in identifying gaps and best practices by monitoring performance targets against established plans.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain client relationships through acquisition from internal and external sources.
- Expand business growth by conducting telemarketing and outbound calls.
- Coordinate marketing activities and sales materials to support client conversations.
- Provide detailed information about products and services while determining the appropriate communication for investment needs.
- Resolve client complaints independently and escalate issues when necessary.
- Analyze data to provide insights and format information into reports and dashboards.
- Prepare information for client meetings and annual reviews.
- Manage client requests according to policies and maintain schedules for customer meetings.
- Follow risk and compliance processes to protect bank assets and ensure regulatory adherence.
What you'll need#
- A post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Typically 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced knowledge of investment processes, procedures, and proprietary products.
- Relevant investment industry licensing for the designated jurisdiction.
- Fluency in both French and English.
- Strong verbal and written communication, organization, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
