About the role#
As a Climate Risk Reporting Analyst, you will support our team with project-based work focused on climate risk. You will research and compile reports on impact areas while tracking and mapping our exposure. This role involves analyzing data to provide insights, building dashboards, and ensuring our reporting processes remain accurate and efficient.
What you'll do#
- Build reports and analyze data to provide risk-related recommendations.
- Create dashboards and format data for regular and ad-hoc reporting.
- Review regulatory data for mass assumptions.
- Design and implement reporting solutions to meet management and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs).
- Work with data owners to select and discover relevant data sources.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Assist with the maintenance of operational procedures and training tools.
- Break down strategic problems to provide actionable insights.
- Act as a resource for team members and build effective stakeholder relationships.
What you'll need#
- A post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of risk management theory, metrics, KPIs, and KRIs.
- Familiarity with reporting and analytics concepts, risk systems technology, and industry regulatory requirements.
- Power BI skills are considered an asset.
- In-depth analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to influence others and make data-driven decisions.
