About the role#
As a Business Management Coordinator intern for Winter 2027, you will support business groups by handling general office operations and clerical tasks. This role focuses on helping teams meet objectives while maintaining compliance with internal policies and risk management frameworks. You will gain exposure to professional workflows, team coordination, and administrative project support.
What you'll do#
- Manage daily office tasks, including maintaining filing systems, database entry, and tracking department records.
- Coordinate meeting logistics such as scheduling, catering, room setup, and conference calls.
- Process financial documentation, including tracking budget invoices and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist with office maintenance, including managing supply inventory and coordinating equipment repairs.
- Support team communications by preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Verify staff timesheets and track attendance data to support resource planning.
- Collaborate with internal units and vendors to manage premises changes and office relocations.
- Apply risk management practices to ensure all tasks align with bank policies and regulations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an academic program with a plan to return to studies after the internship.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with office equipment and transactional documentation processes.
- Understanding of business unit products, services, and regulatory requirements.
- Two to three years of relevant experience or a related certification is preferred, such as a Certificate in Office Administration.
