About the role#
This position supports Change Management projects and tasks for the broader business group. You will work mostly independently to identify, diagnose, and solve problems while taking measured risks to protect the bank. The role requires a blend of technical capability and a business mindset.
What you'll do#
- Assist the team in building components to support reporting groups.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and document data flows, systems, and processes.
- Design and build reporting dashboards using data extraction, cleaning, and visualization techniques.
- Identify trends and patterns to provide actionable insights for business questions.
- Optimize, refine, automate, and scale analysis into repeatable decision support tools.
- Select, configure, and implement analytics solutions to ensure consistency.
- Enhance the usability and aesthetic appeal of data analytics solutions for stakeholders.
- Develop tools and deliver training programs for non-analytical end users.
- Exercise judgment to solve problems and propose creative solutions.
What you'll need#
- Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in data management, extraction, and analysis.
- Programming experience with SQL and Python.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Power BI experience is considered an asset.
- Foundational proficiency in data visualization, data storytelling, data mining, and technical design optimization.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to partner with various teams and senior leaders.
- Ability to articulate the business case and value behind business questions.
