About the role#
BDO Canada is hiring a Co-op Student or Intern for the Valuations & Modelling team in Toronto. This is a full-time position for the Winter 2027 term, running from January to April. You will work on-site as part of a team that provides financial insights and advisory services to our clients.
What you'll do#
- Assist in building financial models for valuation purposes.
- Prepare detailed valuation reports and presentations for management.
- Participate in meetings and discussions with client management.
- Analyze company and industry strengths, weaknesses, and risks to determine cash flow impacts.
- Conduct research using third-party databases to identify market data, industry trends, and comparable public or private company multiples.
- Manage multiple engagements to ensure client deliverables are met on time.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accounting-focused post-secondary program.
- Strong interest in valuation work and an eagerness to pursue the CBV designation.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and varying deadlines.

- Compensation: $48,000 - $60,000.
