About the role#
Our Winnipeg office is looking for a student to join the Assurance team for a 4-month term from September to December 2027. This role offers a comprehensive learning experience in financial reporting, analysis, and compliance. You will gain hands-on experience while working as part of a collaborative team.
What you'll do#
- Use technical knowledge from your courses to prepare tax returns for a variety of clients.
- Contribute to tax compliance projects and other assignments following regulatory standards.
- Gather evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements.
- Build positive working relationships with clients and respond to their requests.
- Participate in business development initiatives and identify new opportunities with existing clients.
- Communicate with team members regarding progress updates and project issues.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working towards a degree or diploma focused in accounting.
- A desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to take initiative.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

- Modality: Hybrid, with expectations to work from the office, at the client site, and virtually.
