About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship position for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site at our Toronto head office, supporting the tax team with compliance, reporting, and various project-based tasks.
What you'll do#
- Assist with Canadian indirect tax compliance and reporting.
- Oversee the timely remittance of income and indirect tax payments.
- Collaborate with Finance teams to provide indirect tax assistance on operating initiatives and answer tax-related queries.
- Support the Investment Tax team by identifying indirect tax issues or risks on transactions.
- Help with enterprise-wide non-transaction tax projects or income tax compliance as directed by senior team members.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a college or university program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, or a related field.
- Some knowledge of Finance or Tax principles is preferred.
- Ability to deliver results while managing competing deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills, specifically the ability to break down large projects into manageable components.
- Ability to build relationships and work constructively with internal colleagues and stakeholders.
- An ownership mindset with a focus on accountability and sound judgment.

- Compensation: $44,850.00 to $56,550.00 per year, prorated based on contract term. You may be eligible for an annual incentive award and participation in group benefits and retirement plans.
