About the role#
We are looking for a student to join our tax team in Toronto for a 12-month term starting in late April 2027. This role focuses on US tax matters and provides exposure to a variety of tax-related work requiring analysis, assessment, and quantification.
What you'll do#
- Research and analyze tax issues.
- Prepare tax provisions and manage tax payments.
- Maintain summary and control documentation.
- Research US federal and state tax notices to determine resolutions.
- Manage communications with tax authorities.
- Draft technical memos and other tax-related documents.
- Support the US tax team with corporate federal and state tax initiatives.
- Assist with Canadian tax matters if needed.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of an Accounting and Financial Management program.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers, including Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work.
- Self-motivation with the ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
- A professional approach and a drive to achieve results.

- This position is based in Toronto, Ontario.
- The role is on-site and full-time.
- This is a 12-month summer internship term starting in April 2027.
