About the role#
BDO Canada is hiring an Assurance Co-op or Intern for our Winnipeg office. This position is a 4-month term running from May to August 2027. You will gain experience in financial reporting, analysis, and compliance while working within a team environment.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns for various clients using your technical knowledge.
- Assist with tax compliance projects and other assigned tasks.
- Collect evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients.
- Respond to client requests and suggestions.
- Identify new business opportunities with existing clients.
- Participate in business development initiatives.
- Provide regular progress updates to team members and communicate any issues.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accounting degree or diploma program.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
- Proven leadership abilities and a willingness to take initiative.
- A commitment to teamwork and providing quality client service.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
- The position is full-time.
- We operate on a hybrid work model, which includes time in the office, at client sites, and working virtually.
- This is a paid internship.
