About the role#
This position supports the Public Services Team in Moody and Jones Libraries. You will help with circulation tasks and general office operations to keep library materials organized and accessible. This is a part-time role requiring at least 10 hours of work per week.
What you'll do#
- Collect, check in, sort, and reshelve books.
- Organize materials using the LC Call Number system and verify items are in the correct order.
- Monitor supply levels at the Public Services Desk, such as printer paper and staplers.
- Assist with collection inventory and perform general business operations duties.
- Comply with all University policies.
- Maintain regular, punctual attendance.
What you'll need#
- Ability to work as part of a team, prioritize tasks, and take initiative.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Flexible work availability, including the ability to work a regularly-scheduled weekend shift.
- Physical ability to remain active for the duration of a 2-hour shift.
- Experience using a library or the LC Call Number system is preferred but not required.
