About the role#
This position supports the One Stop team within the Enrollment Management division at Baylor University. You will act as the first point of contact for students and visitors, providing service at the welcome desk. This role offers the chance to gain professional experience in university operations while assisting your fellow students with their financial aid and account inquiries.
What you'll do#
- Greet visitors at the welcome desk, manage check-ins, and direct guests to the correct staff members.
- Respond to inquiries regarding Student Accounts and Financial Aid through email and phone.
- Handle administrative tasks including filing documents, reviewing office mail, and maintaining records.
- Process check payments according to office procedures.
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive student information.
- Assist with Orientation sessions held at the Mark and Paula Hurd Welcome Center.
- Support general office operations through additional projects and tasks as assigned.

Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Waco, Texas.
- Work locations include the Bill Daniel Student Center and the Mark and Paula Hurd Welcome Center.
- Shifts are scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. with flexible hours.
- This is a paid, part-time position.
