About the role#
The Supplemental Instruction Graduate Assistant works with the Program Manager to support the operation of the Supplemental Instruction program. This role involves planning events, managing data, and providing feedback to SI Leaders. You will help maintain the program schedule and support ongoing programming within the Center for Academic Success and Engagement.
What you'll do#
- Observe and evaluate SI Leaders on-site, which includes some evening work.
- Track SI Leader attendance data and manage observation forms.
- Assist the Program Manager with presentations and event planning.
- Communicate regularly with SI Leaders to maintain the program schedule.
- Analyze program processes and contribute to the effective operation of the learning center.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Power Platforms.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
- Experience or comfort working with a diverse group of undergraduate students.
- A detail-oriented approach to organizing multiple projects.
Location & details#
- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Work Modality: On-site at the Sid Richardson building.
- Schedule: 10 to 20 hours per week.
- Pay: $15.00 per hour.
- Majors: Psychology, Business Administration, Communications, Human Resources, Sociology, Public Health, Media Studies, and Criminal Justice.
