About the role#
As a Statistician Intern in the Pharmaceuticals Statistics US department, you will observe how clinical trials influence decisions during drug development. You will work alongside senior-level Statisticians to gain direct experience in research and development processes.
What you'll do#
- Complete a research project with senior-level Statisticians.
- Analyze clinical trial data and assist with programming tasks.
- Provide support to trial and project Statisticians.
- Present your research findings to the Statistics department and a non-statistical audience at the end of your term.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Master's or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of SAS, R, or Python.
- Ability to work both in a multi-disciplinary team and autonomously.
- Motivated, well-organized, and interested in the intersection of science and policy.

- Term: Summer 2027 (mid-May to mid-August).
- Location: Whippany, New Jersey, with hybrid and remote options available.
- Employment type: Full-time internship.
- This is a paid position.
