    About the role#

    As a Seed Engineer Co-op, you will support the engineering design and execution of capital projects for seed supply and breeding operations. You will gain experience in front-end engineering design, project management, and system start-up while contributing to safe and scalable seed production.

    What you'll do#

    • Support front-end definition of seed processing projects, including functional specifications and process flows.
    • Assist in preparing documentation required for environmental permits.
    • Contribute to site planning documents, such as building layouts and plot plans.
    • Support construction activities and coordinate with contractors.
    • Assist with equipment and system start-up, including functional checks and troubleshooting.

    What you'll need#

    • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Mechanization, or a related field.
    • Completion of at least one year of a Bachelor's degree program.
    • Ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams.
    • Willingness to travel to support seed production locations across the United States.
