About the role#
This co-op role supports the Medical Device Regulatory Affairs organization. You will map, analyze, and improve the digital tools and workflows that manage regulatory information across the product lifecycle. The goal is to reduce manual work and improve data accessibility within a regulated healthcare environment.
What you'll do#
- Inventory and document regulatory databases, repositories, dashboards, and software tools.
- Create process maps to show how information moves between systems.
- Interview stakeholders to capture business processes, data needs, and pain points.
- Analyze relationships between systems, data, and processes to find automation opportunities.
- Build visualizations and dashboards that show system dependencies and improvement areas.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Engineering, Business Data Analytics, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
- Coursework or experience in data modeling, database design, process mining, systems architecture, or business process analysis.
- Experience using SQL and Python for data analysis.
- Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
- Interest in healthcare, life sciences, or medical device industries and regulatory systems.
