About the role#
Basalite Concrete Products is looking for an intern to support our sales efforts and assist the General Manager with business and administrative projects. This role offers hands on experience in sales, operations, and customer service within a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Track sales leads, follow up with customers, and conduct market research.
- Support customer relationship management and keep records accurate.
- Prepare sales reports, presentations, and customer communications.
- Assist the General Manager with daily business initiatives and special projects.
- Gather and analyze data to help with decision making.
- Coordinate meetings, set agendas, and document action items.
- Handle administrative tasks like filing and scheduling.
- Work with different departments to learn how the business runs.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Management, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- You are organized, detail oriented, and can manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A self-motivated approach and a willingness to take initiative.
- A professional attitude and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Prior experience in an internship, customer service, or sales is a plus.
- Experience with CRM systems or data analysis tools is helpful.
- An interest in manufacturing, operations, or business management.

- Compensation: $18 - $24 per hour.
