About the role#
Great Southern Wood Preserving is looking for a Sales Intern for the Summer 2027 program. This role provides exposure to the lumber industry through on-the-job training and real-world projects.
What you'll do#
- Gain experience in inventory purchases, order entry, and customer service.
- Assist the sales team with sales calls and order entry.
- Gather data and perform analysis to support sales decisions.
- Participate in customer visits.
- Help with special projects and ad-hoc requests as needed.
What you'll need#
- You are at least a sophomore pursuing a Bachelor degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related field.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Glenwood, Arkansas.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship.
- College course credit is available.
