Job Description: Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., makers of YellaWood brand pressure-treated pine, is seeking a Management Information Systems Intern for the 2027 Summer Internship Program. This program is an opportunity to experience the lumber industry and workforce like never before. From networking opportunities and real-world projects to community service events, Great Southern provides the incredible opportunity to gain valuable real-world experience. Responsibilities may include:
Gaining experience and developing new skills through on-the-job training and exposure to installation of hardware and software information systems Enhancing customer service skills by answering calls for the IT support desk Assisting in collaboration with software developers to test new applications and functionality All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Classification as a sophomore or higher and actively seeking a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field, and have a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or greater Must have experience with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook
