About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain industry and organizational knowledge at Builders FirstSource. You will work under direct supervision while completing daily business tasks. This position is a paid, full-time role for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the department by assisting with various projects.
- Gather and organize data to create reports for special projects.
- Join team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reach project goals.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor degree program, preferably in Business Administration or Marketing.
- Status as a junior or senior is preferred.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort interacting with others and working with diverse groups of people.
Location & details#
- The role is based in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
- This is an on-site position.
- You may occasionally need to lift or move objects up to 25 pounds.
