About the role#
Barnes Aerospace is hiring a Customer Service Intern for our Warren, Michigan location. This is a paid, part-time position with a rolling start date. You will work on-site to support our customer service team with daily operations and documentation.
What you'll do#
- Support the Customer Service Manager with daily tasks, including customer inquiries and general account support.
- Track customer orders, delivery dates, and open actions to help ensure timely follow-up.
- Coordinate with internal teams like Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to gather information for customer requests.
- Maintain customer records, reports, and trackers to keep information accurate.
- Help prepare customer communications, presentations, and routine reports.
- Assist with special projects and improvement initiatives within the department.
