About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in the energy sector. You will work with experienced engineers to understand the systems and processes that support field operations. The program includes training, team meetings, and project work, supported by a manager and a buddy to help develop your professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Complete internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers on field operations like drilling, well testing, and equipment maintenance.
- Collect and analyze data from field activities to identify trends or issues.
- Troubleshoot field operations and equipment.
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure it remains in proper working order.
- Keep detailed records of field activities, equipment inspections, and safety measures.
- Apply Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards in all situations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, or a STEM-related field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher out of 4.0, or the equivalent.
- Fluency in written and oral English.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.
