About the role#
Audax is looking for a Data Engineer CO-OP to join the business solutions team for the Winter 2027 term. You will work alongside the Senior Data Engineer to gain hands-on experience in data engineering, governance, and management. This role involves collaborating with the team to maintain data pipelines, ensure data quality, and expand the company cloud enterprise data warehouse.
What you'll do#
- Design, implement, maintain, and scale the Audax data ecosystem.
- Scale data infrastructure within the company cloud enterprise data warehouse.
- Build ETL processes and analytic pipelines for investment professionals.
- Assist with data governance policies, including data cataloging and data lineage.
- Perform data validation, assess data quality, and identify or resolve data anomalies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Experience cleaning and distilling large datasets.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with on-premise and cloud-based databases, as well as designing optimal data schemas.
- Previous Co-Op or full-time experience in a related field is a plus.
- Familiarity with Java, Alteryx, or experience implementing data governance best practices are also considered a plus.

- Modality: On-site (3-4 days per week in the office).
