About the role#
The IT Operations Co-Op serves as the first point of contact for technology support at our New York office. You will manage daily operational tasks, resolve service requests, and ensure that our team receives high-quality technical assistance. This role involves direct interaction with staff across the organization to maintain our internal systems and hardware.
What you'll do#
- Act as the primary contact for support on desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, networking, and telephony.
- Manage service requests by setting clear expectations for resolution times and following up to ensure satisfaction.
- Deploy, maintain, and upgrade client technology assets.
- Handle technical tasks related to office moves, including the relocation of IT equipment.
- Monitor and resolve technology issues while documenting your progress.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS or BA degree program, such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Apple iOS.
- Experience with MS Outlook and MS Office 365.
- Familiarity with hardware and software installation and deployment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work with limited direction.
- Professional demeanor when interacting with employees at all levels.
Location & details#
- This position is based in New York, New York.
- The role is on-site, five days per week.
- The term runs from January 4, 2027, to June 25, 2027.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
