About the role#
We are looking for a Co-op to join our finance team for the Winter 2027 term. You will support finance operations, process improvement, and data initiatives. This role is a fit for someone who is detail-oriented and interested in building practical experience in financial operations within a private equity firm. You will work closely with the finance team and partner with Business Solutions on data structure projects.
What you'll do#
- Own the build-out of streamlined expense reporting processes from the ground up.
- Transform how expense reports are presented and formatted for clarity and polish.
- Develop and implement a more robust data structure for automated reporting.
- Partner with Business Solutions and finance teams to develop integrated datasets.
- Streamline forecasting processes for P&L and tax analysis.
- Coordinate with cross-functional team members to confirm consistency of data definitions and tagging conventions.
- Overhaul existing PE and PD allocation processes.
- Establish checks and controls to ensure data flows accurately.
- Prepare clear summaries of allocation outputs for senior executives.
- Document key interdependencies across Accounting, FP&A, and Tax processes.
- Identify gaps and hand-off points between teams.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or an analytical field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- High attention to detail.
- Sound judgment when working with data across multiple systems and files.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to synthesize information for senior leadership.
- Demonstrated interest in process improvement, data structuring, and cross-functional collaboration.

- Term: Winter 2027 (January 4, 2027 to June 25, 2027).
- Work Modality: Hybrid (3-4 days in office).
- Status: Full-time, paid position.
