About the role#
Audax is hiring a Data Engineer Co-Op for the Winter 2027 term. You will join the Business Solutions team in New York to work directly with our Senior Data Engineer. This role focuses on hands-on data management, governance, and engineering tasks to support our investment professionals.
What you'll do#
- Design, build, and maintain the Audax data ecosystem.
- Scale data infrastructure within our cloud enterprise data warehouse.
- Develop ETL processes and analytic pipelines.
- Assist with data governance, including cataloging and tracking data lineage.
- Perform data validation and quality assessments to identify and resolve anomalies.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Analytics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Experience cleaning and distilling large datasets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with Java, Alteryx, and cloud-based databases is a plus.
- Previous relevant Co-Op or full-time work experience is a plus.

- Location: New York, New York.
- Term: January 2027 to June 2027.
- Modality: On-site (3-4 days per week in the office).
- Compensation: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour.
