About the role#
The Finance Development Program internship is a 10-to-12-week assignment designed to prepare students for the full-time Finance Development Program at AT&T. Interns work within finance teams to build professional relationships, participate in mentorship and executive speaker series, and gain hands-on experience. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Analyze and interpret financial data, including budgets, forecasts, and expense management.
- Partner with business teams to evaluate and apply analytics to meet information needs.
- Identify and drive process improvements by creating reports, tools, and dashboards.
- Evaluate costs and pricing for new products, services, and proposals.
- Conduct market research to support internal financial analysis.
- Develop project deliverables to support organizational goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program focusing on Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Estimated graduation date between Fall 2027 and Spring 2029.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to quickly learn data gathering and analytical skills.
- Integrity in professional conduct.
- Note that AT&T does not provide visa sponsorship for this position.

- This role is based in Dallas, Texas.
- The position requires an on-site, in-office presence 5 days a week.
- The program term is rolling.
