About the role#
The Accounting Leadership Development Program internship is a 10-12 week summer opportunity designed for students pursuing a master's degree. You will gain experience through structured assignments and strategic projects across various corporate accounting disciplines. This program aims to prepare you for consideration for the full-time program upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Rotate through different accounting disciplines within the finance and accounting organizations.
- Analyze monthly financial reports and support complex M&A activities.
- Implement new ASC regulatory changes and prepare journal entries.
- Reconcile ledger accounts and manage the legal entity monthly reporting process.
- Collaborate with leaders and participate in networking opportunities with peers.
- Contribute to process improvements and communicate results to managers and senior leaders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a master's degree program in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- Estimated graduation date between Fall 2027 and Spring 2028.
- 0-2 years of related experience.
- Ability to work under detailed supervision and follow outlined procedures.
- Integrity and a proactive mindset.
- Note that AT&T does not provide work visa sponsorship for this position.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site internship located in Dallas, Texas.
- You must be able to work in the office 5 days a week for the duration of the Summer 2027 term.
- This position is paid.
