About the role#
We are seeking an intern to join the U.S. Tower division Finance team. You will support various accounting teams and learn the operations of our business and its accounting organization. The team prepares and reports financial figures that align with GAAP standards.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the monthly financial close process.
- Prepare account analyses, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Apply generally accepted accounting principles with the support of your team leader.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports.
- Apply analyses of basic operating statistics or financial data.
- Support various departments through an understanding of their respective financial information.
- Assist with ad-hoc requests.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a business degree with a concentration in accounting.
- Must be within 18 months of graduation at the time of internship commencement.
- A minimum GPA of 3.3 is preferred.
- Interest in obtaining a CPA or other relevant professional designation is preferred.
