About the role#
This co-op role supports the Digital Lighthouse and Supply Chain teams at the AstraZeneca manufacturing site in Mt. Vernon, Indiana. You will work on data projects that improve operational efficiency, manufacturing performance, and supply chain visibility. This is a part-time position starting in January 2027.
What you'll do#
- Build and improve data visualization and analytics solutions using Power BI and SQL.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, map processes, and design digital tools.
- Support the adoption of artificial intelligence and automation workflows.
- Create and maintain dashboards, data models, and reporting systems.
- Analyze inventory, production planning, warehouse, and logistics processes.
- Develop technical documentation and training materials to help users adopt new digital tools.
- Collaborate on strategic digital transformation and innovation projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program for Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date after August 2027.
- Proficiency in coding with Python or SQL.
- Experience with Excel and Power BI is preferred.
- Interest in cross-functional collaboration, public speaking, and presentation design.
- US Work Authorization at the time of application.
Location & details#
- Location: Mt. Vernon, Indiana.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time, up to 20 hours per week.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Compensation: $21 per hour.
- Note: This role does not provide relocation assistance, CPT, or OPT letters.
