About the role#
This is a 12-week paid internship for the summer of 2027. You will join a team to gain practical experience in software engineering, application development, code quality, and automation. Throughout the program, you will work with technical and leadership mentors while participating in Agile development cycles. You will also engage in immersive learning experiences like Dojos and tech talks to build your professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Plan, develop, and support applications across various languages and disciplines.
- Collaborate with product owners, engineers, designers, and business partners to meet project goals.
- Research and design solutions to achieve specific business outcomes.
- Work through and assist with production issues for supported applications.
- Prepare documentation for your work to ensure smooth handoffs to team members.
- Participate in Agile Application Development and showcase your work to leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Computer Science, Software Development, Information Systems, or a related field at an accredited university.
- An expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029.
- At least one semester of school remaining after the summer internship concludes.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Experience with project or team-based work.
- Ability to demonstrate logical thinking and creative problem solving.
- Coursework or example code relevant to our technology areas, which include cloud hosting (Azure or AWS), observability tools (Datadog or Dynatrace), project management tools (Azure DevOps or Jira), and various development languages such as .NET, React, Angular, Android, or iOS.
