About the role#
This is a full-time internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will join our technical team to work on production systems, contribute to ongoing projects, and help improve our development processes. This role is based on-site in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador.
What you'll do#
- Provide proactive and reactive support for production systems.
- Resolve incidents, problem tickets, and defects through coding, testing, and debugging.
- Improve user experiences and service quality.
- Support various projects and system enhancements.
- Take ownership of team tasks and deliverables on a rotating basis.
- Maintain accurate incident records and update documentation.
- Provide deployment support to ensure system functionality.
- Analyze systems to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Recommend improvements for development and maintenance processes.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Availability to work 35 hours per week during the Winter 2027 term.
- Status as an active student who will return to school in Summer or Fall 2027.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Interest in continuous delivery pipelines and testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
