This internship offers hands-on experience within the semiconductor manufacturing industry. Interns will work on industry-related projects, gain insights into core engineering roles, and contribute to projects that support technologies ranging from smartphones to self-driving cars. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Support simulation, design of experiments (DOE) studies, and predictive reduced-order modeling to accelerate semiconductor engineering analysis.
- Apply technical skills to real-world engineering challenges.
- Collaborate with professional engineers on industry projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field.
- Strong background in numerical modeling and simulation.
- Familiarity with DOE, data analysis, and scripting languages such as Python or MATLAB.
- Experience with CFD or multi-physics simulation tools is preferred.
- Exposure to or interest in model reduction techniques, such as ROMs or surrogate modeling.
