About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience within the semiconductor industry. You will work alongside professional engineers on industry-related projects, gaining insight into core engineering roles while contributing to projects that impact technologies like smartphones and self-driving cars. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Support simulation, design of experiments (DOE) studies, and predictive reduced-order modeling to accelerate semiconductor engineering analysis.
- Apply your skills to real-world challenges while working on industry-specific projects.
- Gain professional exposure to engineering processes and collaborate with experienced team members.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field.
- Strong background in numerical modeling and simulation.
- Experience with CFD or multi-physics simulation tools is preferred.
- Familiarity with DOE, data analysis, and scripting languages such as Python or MATLAB.
- Exposure to or interest in model reduction techniques, including ROMs and surrogate modeling.
