About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship opportunity within the semiconductor manufacturing industry. You will work on-site for a 12-week term starting in Winter 2027. This role is designed for students currently enrolled in a full-time academic program.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across materials, supply chain, finance, and manufacturing.
- Map global materials movements by supplier, shipping method, and entry plant.
- Develop a Total Landed Cost tool to calculate total materials costs, including shipping, tariffs, taxes, duties, and logistics expenses based on ship-from and ship-to locations.
- Create what-if scenarios to evaluate cost impacts for manufacturing tools built in the US, Korea, and Singapore, as well as materials shipped to spares warehouses.
- Perform full cost analysis based on shipping lanes, tariffs, taxes, and destination countries.
- Identify opportunities to reduce overall landed costs and simulate optimal shipping strategies.
- Propose models and processes to measure and track landed costs.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an MBA with a focus on Supply Chain, Analytics, AI, Finance, or Operations.
- Strong interest in or exposure to supply chain, cost modeling, or global operations.
- Semiconductor industry experience or a strong interest in the field.
- Ability to work full-time on-site for the duration of the 12-week program.
